HISTORY

Troop 35 originated at Armstrong Elementary in the Park Cities of Dallas, Texas in 1937. We are one of the oldest continuous meeting troops in the DFW area. Our troop is part of the Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

MISSION

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

GOALS

The goals of Troop 35 are for you to build friendships, have valuable experiences, develop strong skills, and ascend in rank on the trail to EAGLE SCOUT and beyond!

PERTINENT TO TROOP 35

  • Scout Meetings - Mondays 7:00-8:15pm

  • Six Annual Campouts - 1 or 2 days in TX

  • Annual Family Weekend Trip in TX

  • Participation in - Summer Camp/High Adventure Camp at some of the following-

    FLORIDA SEA BASE SCOUT CAMP NEW MEXICO GORHAM SCOUT RANCH COLORADO CAMP ALEXANDER INDIANA CAMP RANSBURG

  • Active in Park Cities community service and volunteer at local charities
